Blue Rebbon Academy is an institution created to educate stylists about natural hair, scalp care, and proper and painless natural hair styling techniques. The academy also prepares students with all the necessary business knowledge to build and run a successful natural hair brand and salon.

Hi, I’m Mojisola, the lead tutor and creative founder at Blue Rebbon.
I didn’t know what I was doing when I started my natural hair salon business. It took years of making mistakes and failing before getting it right. And after 4 years, I have managed to generate more than 6 figures in naira from profit and position myself as a local natural hair brand.
As my business grew and expanded, I realized, after a passing number of clients who’ve sat on my chair, complaining about how regular salons yank their hair off and comb their dry hair harshly, among other things, that these regular salon stylists have not learned the art and techniques of natural hair styling and it breaks my heart. They often nudge people to use chemicals to straighten their afros to compensate for this lack of skill.
It is why I have created Blue Rebbon Academy to educate more stylists, especially intending stylists the right hairdressing techniques for natural hair care.
Blue Rebbon Academy will help aspiring, new, and current stylists looking to upskill, save time and energy, and get everything they need in one training. I have compiled all the techniques, skills, and knowledge you need to run your natural hair salon into a 3- month training course. The course has been broken down into daily bite-sized modules, and you can track your progress through weekly assessments.
The skills, strategies, and information you will get in this training are not theories but proven strategies that have worked for me in building my business and natural hair brand.

Our Available Courses
At Blue Rebbon Academy, we have long and short-duration courses.
The long-duration courses are all professional courses and are divided into 3 levels. Students enroll in the level best suited for their professional and personal needs. The long-duration courses are for those that want to be professional natural hair stylists, experts, and consultants.
The short-duration courses are best suited for those that want to learn natural hair care for their personal use.
Long Duration/ Professional Courses
Beginner Course
This course is best for those that don’t have any knowledge of natural hair care or styling.
Students enrolled in this training would be taught everything from the basic rudiment of natural hair and styling. After this training, students will be armed with all the knowledge and information they need to launch their natural hair salon or brand.
Intermediate Course
This is for those who already have basic knowledge of natural hair care and styling but don’t have skills sharpened enough to run a natural hair care business. This course allows students to take their skills to an expert level, ready to launch their salon.
Advanced Masterclass
This works for those who have natural hair styling skills and or natural hair care skills and are looking to upskill or expand the scope of their skills.
Students enrolled in this course may also have their own natural hair business but want to learn other skills and sharpen their current skills to expand the scope of their business’s services. After this training, students position themselves as natural hair consultants, experts, and stylists.
Short Courses
Short courses are short-duration classes. These classes are best suited for those that want to learn natural hair care for their personal use. These courses are not recommended for those that wish to pursue natural hair care and styling as a professional career.

The training per batch takes 3 months. Only short courses are 1-2 weeks at most.
The value and type of post-training incentive depend on the course you are enrolled in.
Each class per day lasts 3 hours, and there are evening classes to accommodate college students and working-class persons who want to learn a skill as a side hustle.
Yes, during your enrollment, you will be given a list of starter tools to aid your training after your classes.
The professional courses are all physical/in-person classes. A few of our short courses are online.
